Noun and its Kinds

Noun : - A noun is the name of a person, place, animal, thing, idea or feeling.

Person - Girl, Man, Boy, Amit, Akbar, Archie etc.

Place - India, America, Mumbai, Canada, Town etc.

Animal - Dog, Cat, Fish etc.

Thing - Table, Pen, Tree, Book, Car etc.

Idea - Democracy, Justice, Truth, Beauty etc.

Feeling - Love,  Hatred, Mercy, Joy, Anger etc.

Parts of Speech

Our speech is made up of sentences. A sentence is a group of words which makes complete sense. According to the function they perform in a sentence, words are divided into eight different parts which are called parts of speech. These eight parts of speech are -

2. Pronoun
3. Adjective
4. Verb
5. Adverb
6. Preposition
7. Conjunction
8. Interjection
